WTC 600, WTC 700 and WTC 800: All You Need Is BAC

WTC 600, WTC 700 and WTC 800: All You Need Is BAC

The BAC Mono '17 is easily one of the most capable single-seaters in Gran Turismo 7 once you tune out its lightweight MR twitchiness. We put together three bulletproof setups for the main credit grinding events - delivered straight from Liverpool with love.

Grind Event Setups

  • WTC 600 Tokyo Expressway (599.95 PP): 339 BHP / 583 kg - Comfort Medium tyres on a 580 kg MR chassis usually equal endless snap oversteer off corner exit. Dropping LSD acceleration sensitivity down to 8 and running 0.02 rear toe-in calms down off-throttle snap rotation without ruining turn-in. The lightweight frame easily out-accelerates the AWD NSX field down the main straight at an Auto Top Speed setting of 290 km/h.
  • WTC 700 Circuit de la Sarthe (700.00 PP): 368 BHP / 588 kg - Maxing out the naturally aspirated Duratec 2.5L engine internals (Bore Up S, High Compression Pistons, Titanium Rods, Racing Crankshaft, Polish Ports) while running regulation Racing Hard tyres. Gearbox is adjusted for roughly 320 km/h down the Mulsanne straight.
  • WTC 800 Sardegna Road Track (773.00 PP): 577 BHP / 644 kg - Dropping in the engine swap from the Suzuki VGT Gr.3 turns the chassis into a rocket. Managing 577 BHP requires bumping LSD acceleration sensitivity up to 24 to lock up the rear differential under heavy load and suppress power-oversteer spins out of mid-speed turns.

Stint & Fuel Strategies

  • Le Mans 700PP: Chassis weight under 590 kg renders tyre wear negligible. You do not need to swap back from Intermediates to Hards once the track dries out after the rain.
    • Option A: 2 laps FM1 -> Pit for IM -> 5 laps FM6
    • Option B: 2 laps FM1 + 1 lap FM6 -> Pit for IM -> 4 laps FM5
  • Sardegna 800PP: Run Racing Softs throughout.
    • Standard Strategy: 8 laps on FM6 RS -> Pit -> 7 laps on FM4 RS.
