GT7 Update 1.71: Massive Physics Overhaul and New Cars

Update 1.71 for Gran Turismo 7 is out and it brings a heavy set of underlying mechanics changes. At a glance, we get four new cars including the Caterham Seven Superlight R500 '08 and Hyundai IONIQ 6 N '25 alongside the '97 Toyota Chaser and Mark II Tourer V. There are new World Circuit events, a Whistler Scape and a Seasonal Menu added to the Café. But the real meat is the physics overhaul. Polyphony completely reworked tyre slip, rolling resistance, suspension geometry and controller inputs. The analogue stick steering tweaks mean I will likely have to rebuild muscle memory on my controller with stick extenders to catch slides properly now. With all the physics changes wiping the leaderboards across the board, the grind to re-gold every licence test starts tonight!
