GT World Challenge America: Turner Motorsport Wins 70-Lap Feature While Gidley Sweeps GT America

GT World Challenge America Feature (70 Laps)
The 70-lap main event concluded with a strong victory for the #29 Turner Motorsport BMW driven by J. Rothberg and R. Foley. They held off the Mercedes-AMG threat from the #34 JMF Motorsports entry of M. Stephens and M. Grenier who crossed the line just +4.363 seconds behind. The #9 TR3 Racing Mercedes-AMG of B. Williams and D. Morad completed the podium in third position.
GT America Highlights
- Race 1: Memo Gidley dominated in the #56 SKI Autosports Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVOII to take the win. Tony Davis in the #04 HP-TECH Motorsport Ferrari 296 GT3 finished in second place. Lawrence Tomlinson brought the #62 Team LNT Ginetta G56 GT2 home in third.
- Race 2: Gidley secured a perfect sweep by winning Race 2 in the #56 Audi. Ross Chouest claimed second in the #50 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R. Davis took another podium spot in third with the #04 Ferrari.
Toyota Gazoo Racing GR Cup North America
- Race 1: J. Fletcher of Copeland Motorsports drove the #22 entry to victory over 15 laps. Techsport Racing's S. Kohlbecker finished second in the #15 car. W. Robusto in the #2 RVA Graphics Motorsports entry claimed third.
- Race 2: Fletcher delivered another win in the 17-lap second race. P. DeLong finished second in the #42 Techsport Racing car. M. Schweid rounded out the top three in the #98 RVA Graphics Motorsports entry.
McLaren Trophy America
- Race 1: Pro class drivers Sam Neser and James Li won the 20-lap race in the #74 RWE Motorsport McLaren Artura Trophy Evo. The #100 Forte Racing entry of Cooper Broll took second. Jon Miller and Kevin Madsen finished third in the #53 car.
- Race 2: Tanner Harvey and Patrick Liddy claimed Race 2 in the #24 Forte Racing entry. Alexandra Hainer and Jesse Lazare took second in the #43 Motorsport In Action car. Robby Stockard and Matt Bell finished third in the #65 Hooper Street Racing entry.
GT4 America
- Race 1: Tony Gaples and Michael Cooper piloted the #33 Blackdog Racing McLaren Artura GT4 to a Pro-Am class victory. The #028 RS1 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport of Spencer Pumpelly and Luca Mars finished second. The #68 RAFA Racing Team Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 of Westin Workman and Tyler Gonzalez finished third.
- Race 2: Pumpelly and Mars flipped the script in Race 2 to secure the overall win in the #028 RS1 Porsche. The #7 ACI Motorsports Porsche of Yves Baltas and Jimmy Llibre took second. Race 1 winners Gaples and Cooper finished third in the #33 McLaren.
